Cat is an experienced and versatile presenter, writer and commentator. She has over a decade of TV and radio credits under her belt, spanning news, popular factual and music.

As a lover of words, she also works as a freelance  journalist. Her first blog was picked up by an international website more than 12 years ago. Since then she has gone on to have weekly columns in a number of newspapers, both local and national and on and offline, as well as maintaining her popular personal blog.

Putting her online and TV skills together, she started her vlog The Mum Word after the birth of her first child. Hugely popular and well made it commands a strong audience across several social platforms.

As well as loving her native Scotland and the great outdoors, Cat is always up for a challenge, which could explain her love of slightly bonkers hobbies.
